Hello!

I'm Solha, an Illustrator based in Toronto from South Korea. 

I have a love and passion for creating art that holds stories and sparks a pop of colour and joy into the communities I work and engage with.

I enjoy creating illustrations that evoke emotions of nostalgia and serenity, and being able to accept the aesthetic visual appeal for what it is on the surface. I love using bright colours, especially and am very influenced by Korean traditional folk art (minhwa), clothing (hanbok) and architecture (hanok).
